Over two million cured of Covid-19 in the world

More than 5,260,970 cases of infection and 339,758 deaths have been recorded in 196 countries and territories around the world since the outbreak of coronavirus.

Among these cases, at least 2,031,200 today are considered cured.

Since the assessment made the day before at 17:00, 4,179 new deaths and 100,671 cases of infection worldwide have been recorded.

The countries that have recorded the most new deaths in the last 24 hours are Brazil with 1 001 US with 989 and Mexico with 479.

China (excluding the territories of Hong Kong and Macau) recorded a total of 82,971 cases, including 4,634 deaths and 78,258 recovered between Friday and Saturday.

In a number of cases, the United States is the most affected country, with 1,611,691 officially registered cases of infection, including 96,479 deaths and 350,135 injuries.

After the US, the most affected countries are the United Kingdom with over 36,675 deaths in 257,154 cases, Italy with 32,735 deaths in 229,327 cases, Spain with 28,678 deaths in 235,290 cases and France with 28,332 deaths. 182,469 cases.

Europe – 2 004 226 cases (173 279 victims).

USA and Canada – 1 695 281 cases (102 912 victims).

Latin America and the Caribbean – 685,508 cases (37,762 victims).

Asia – 428,300 cases (13,745 victims).

Middle East – 333,744 cases (8,704 victims).

Africa – 105,456 cases (3,226 victims).

Oceania – 8,463 cases (130 victims).
