Scientists claim peak of coronavirus crisis in Germany expected in June, up to 1.3 million people may be infected

The peak of coronavirus infection in Germany could be expected to occur in June. Up to 1.3 million people could be infected during the peak of the coronavirus crisis, scientists claim.

As for the end of the epidemic in Germany, they are confident it will end in August. The ministers of home affairs of the federal states and provinces, during a video conference held, have stated that movement restriction and contact should remain in place.

As the Thuringian provincial government announced, these measures must be implemented consistently. Speaking at a conference of the interior ministry, Thuringia’s interior minister, Georg Mayer, said the measures taken are expected to yield results.
