Up to 12 years in prison for breaking coronavirus rules in Serbia

Aleksandar Vucic Official Belgrade has announced harsh punitive measures against all those who fail to enforce their quarantine decisions.

If one person violates self-isolation as a result of coronavirus and because of another person’s potential infection that can lead to a fatal outcome, he or she will be sentenced to up to 12 years in prison. Such measures were announced tonight by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, after Serbia declared a state of emergency due to the coronavirus.
